Treatment

Genre - I believe this piece of music does not fall into a specific genre as it has a very individual sound. This song has a slightly vintage feel to it which makes it more interesting and orginal.

Sound - The clip will only consist of the sound of the track. This piece has some surreal sounds, acompanied by drums, guitar and vocals. I belive this clip has quite an animalistic sound through the drums, it becomes very intense and dark which already gives the piece an ambigous feel.

Lighting - There will be variations in lighting, as some scenes will need to be dark in order to create the correct feel and others will have natural lighting when in natural surroundings (such as being outdoors in the day time.)

Shots - I aim to have around 50 shots in this piece as I feel quickly flashing images and cutting from shots quickly can be really effective in a fast pace song. I wish to make this piece look as professional as possible.

Editing - I feel most of my editing will be fairly simple although there will be a scene that will need severe editing to give it a hot, chlostrophobic feel. Similarly, the cuts between shots will all be straight cuts meaning cutting clips and putting them one after the other will be simple.

Mise en Scene - Although I am still creating a rough story board I want the settings to be familiar but bizarre. This video will need props such as a microphone and guitar as I will be shooting the band in action.
